Epic views of the city and outdoor scenery are part of this tour as you then wind your way back through the main streets of Edinburgh and finish at one of the most visited sites, Edinburgh Castle. This run takes you into one of the most mysterious cities in Europe and its beautiful surrounding countryside.

Route summary:
Set in the magnificent Lake District, this run certainly doesn’t disappoint on mountain and lake scenery. Starting in the quaint English village of Pooley Bridge, we make our way south along the shores of Ullswater, Lake District’s second largest lake, past Hallin Fell and turning back on yourself at Place Fell, continuing inland towards Lowther Castle, home to the Earls of Lonsdale in medieval times. A challenging route with an elevation again of over 1,200m, but well worth it!
Interesting fact:
Home of the Cumberland sausage, true Cumberland sausages are around 2 feet long and a quarter of an inch thick – we’ll have a bit of that!

Snowdonia National Park, Wales
Total distance run:
126.6 km
Travel time to next marathon start:

Route summary:
The National Park of Snowdonia is where we finish this tour’s final marathon, and what a place to finish in. With quite the elevation gain, we start our adventure on the shores of the River Conwy, nestled in the lush Welsh mountain range, making our way west to Capel Curig. Truly special views of the Welsh countryside as we follow the landscape to the most northern point of Trefriw before winding our way back down south through the stunning Gwydyr Forest and to victory!
Interesting fact:
Wales’ highest mountain rage, Snowdon (3,560 ft)

Only run a marathon
Many of our runners had only run 1 or 2 marathons. Follow our Ultimate Training plan and get yourself ready in 20+ weeks. It’s definitely achievable but please note that all participants must have run a sub 5hr marathon due to a cut off time of 6.5hrs per each marathon. All runs are self-navigation.
run777 sounds epic, just don’t have the time or not just there yet
Our weekend getaways make it easy to get your adventures in. You don’t have to take a week off, try a long weekend instead.
Want to build up to a run777, start with a run333 first and work your way up to one. run333’s are just as much fun over a shorter period.
Like variety?
Our runs take us through 3 countries where we find the best of each of them. Run from city to mountains, National Parks to ocean. We love variety and adventure.

Reducing our carbon footprint
We work hard to reduce our impact on this stunning world so we travel between countries in 1 coach which means our numbers are limited to enable this. Restaurants are booked within walking distances so coaches are not required.
